Department’s Vission

Department of Botany was established in 2015 at UG level to teach the students Botany, the basic Science to clear the fundamentals of Agriculture because the most of the students are from Agriculture background Post graduation classes were started in 2018 with the aim to create interest in the research in Botany for the benefit of farmers under extension program.

Department’s Mission

Department of Botany provides education to students of Botany as per the syllabus of the University to get the knowledge of:

• Basic fundamentals of Botany.
• Complete knowledge of Morphology, Anatomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, Physiology, Systematic Botany, etc.
• Research and extension work in the field of Botany:
  • Lotus culture.
  • Mushroom culture and training center.
  • Vermicompost culture, training, sale and distribution centre.
