Gangasheel Mahavidyalaya, Faizullapur, Nawabganj, Bareilly is established in 2015. The Department of Political Science is dedicated to the systematic study of politics, government, public administration, international relations, political theory, public policy and constitutional institutions. It equips students with analytical skills, civic responsibility, and an understanding of democratic governance.

• The department promotes community engagement through voter awareness campaigns, legal literacy programmes, social surveys, awareness drives, village visits, and collaboration with government agencies.
• The department develops leadership, teamwork, communication, decision-making, personality development, and public speaking through debates, youth parliaments, model assemblies, and student activities.
• The department adopts learner-centered teaching through lectures, seminars, group discussions, presentations, debates, ICT-enabled classrooms, case studies, field visits, and project-based learning.
• The primary aim is to develop informed, responsible, and socially conscious citizens by providing a comprehensive understanding of political institutions, governance, democracy, public policy, and international affairs.
